Common troubleshooting

The following table describes common troubleshooting solutions for CareLink Connect software:

“Info unavailable”

CareLink Personal software is not receiving data from the connected device.

  1. Verify there is an internet connection.
  2. Refer to the user guide of the connected device for troubleshooting information.

The reports do not show recent information from the last few days.

  1. CareLink Personal software is not receiving data from the connected device.
  2. If the connected device has been in use for less than 24 hours, the data history for report generation may not have been uploaded yet.
  1. Verify there is an internet connection.
  2. Refer to the user guide of the connected device for troubleshooting information.

No text message received by a contact

  1. An incorrect phone number was entered.
  2. The notifications are not enabled.
  3. The alert notification in question is not selected.
  4. The alert was cleared on the connected device before data was sent to CareLink Personal software.
  5. The care partner's mobile device had no network coverage when the alert was issued.
  6. The care partner has opted out from receiving text messages.
  1. Verify the mobile phone number is correct for the notification settings. Send a test message to test the text message notifications function.
  2. Enable the notifications.
  3. Select the alert for the notifications settings.
  4. Ensure the alert is enabled on the connected device.
  5. Return to an area where a cellular or wireless connection is available.
  6. Resubscribe to the text service by texting 'SUBSCRIBE'.
